818 Tequila is a multi award-winning premium tequila brand owned by cultural icon and entrepreneur Kendall Jenner. 818 Tequila’s outstanding flavour comes from utilising traditional processes in a state-of-the-art distillery in Amatitán, Mexico. First, the agaves are slow-cooked for over 30 hours, then crushed using traditional large stone Tahona wheels. Next, they undergo a 48-hour natural fermentation process before being twice-distilled in alembic copper pot stills and then aged in French and American oak barrels for an unparalleled natural taste. 818 is committed to operating a sustainable supply chain: their distillery runs on biomass and solar, their bottles are made from recycled glass, and their packaging is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council. 818 has also partnered with s.a.c.r.e.d. (Saving Agave for Culture, Recreation, Education and Development), who take agave waste and other by-products from tequila production and use them to create usable building materials, such as bricks, to donate to community initiatives across Mexico.
