J. Bally
Rhum Cuvée Art Deco

ABV: 43.5%
Pack Size: 6 x 70cl
Country of Origin: Martinique

Production:

J. Bally is one of the oldest distilleries on the Caribbean island of Martinique. Since 1924 Bally has produced its famous vintage rum in Carbet, a particularly suitable zone of the island for the cultivation of sugar cane. Its products are French-style rhums agricoles, distilled not from molasses, as with many other rums, but from the juice of sugar cane harvested in the limited period between January and February. These rums are characterised by their delicate flavours, roundness on the palate and great fruit aromas.

Tasting Notes:

ON THE NOSE: very present aromas with a certain intensity. Woody aromas typical
from long ageing. Rich fruity notes (brandy fruits) associated with spiced notes of cinnamon and nutmeg. A second nose with more delicate notes of a cigar box and light roasting (chocolate).
ON THE PALATE: unctuous and ample in the mouth. A vivacity to the degree that it brings a certain freshness. A subtle balance the aromas of the nose. Melted woody notes that bring out the entire aromatic palate.
