Unlike most other distillers in the world, we can produce both malt and grain in one single distillery. All the production processes from mashing to bottling of both malt and grain whiskies are all done in our distillery. Average age is more than 7 years. This is a blend of malt whisky and three different types of grain whiskies, all from FUJI GOTEMBA Distillery making this a single source spirit. FUJI GOTEMBA Distillery uses multiple techniques in producing their whiskies: Malt Whisky using traditional Pot Stills. Bourbon heavy style using beer column and doubler stills, high rye content in the mash bills. Canadian style uses a kettle still in a batch process, creating a rich profile. Scotch style using five different column stills, with continuous distillation, makes a lighter style.
Tasting Notes:
AROMAS: Peach, apricot, orange liqueur, delicately fruity with a hint of honey and oatmeal cookies
FLAVOURS: Delicate yet vivid fruits, Williams pear, apple, apricot and white table grapes
FINNISH: A delicately sweet, fruity, and rich aftertaste is interwoven with a pleasantly long, silky finish
