The Japanese Bitters Yuzu is a concentrate of bitter citrus fruits. It is produced from the extract of the ‘Yuzo’ a citrus fruit and plant originating in the Tokushima prefecture in southern Japan and is believed to be a hybrid of sour mandarin and ichang papeda.
Tasting Notes:
With its floral fragrance and sour flavour, it lands somewhere between grapefruit and lime. The fragrance is long lasting and remains throughout, adding richness to a variety of cocktails.
